Together with her author brother Don H Williams, artist and designer Alison J Best launched a children's book at The Alnwick Garden from 26 - 28th May, over the bank holiday weekend. Entitled
Monkey Business in the Treehouse, the book has received the support of Her Grace the Duchess of Northumberland, "A delightful story of what goes on in The Alnwick Garden when the gates have been closed and darkness falls - it's magical!"
According to Alison's brother, "There was really no question about it, illustrations make a children's story like Monkey Business and they were ideally suited for Alison's artwork. The result clearly demonstrates her vibrant and energetic fine art style. It is also marvellous to realise that together with our sister Anne L Williams (author of Knights' Quest), there are now three local authors in our family".
