In the preliminary pages, there are endorsements from the Duke of Northumberland with the Foreword, and a Message from Mark Knopfler (musician). In particular, Mark's interests in the region are echoed by some of his own songs and musical scores (some written for films and TV).
World Champion Speed Reader, Anne Jones, had to be first for proof reading the book. Anne's endorsement is on the cover. Teesside born Anne is known on Radio and TV, and whilst on Sky for the last Harry Potter book launch was the first to provide details about the storyline.
